A Mother's Day to Remember

Bamanda (left) and her two sisters with our assistant pastor
This past Sunday was Mother's Day and we gave special recognition to all of our mothers. Special prizes were given out to each mother and I preached a sermon from Proverbs 31 about mothers. We had one of our members named Bamanda bring her two sisters to church this morning that were visiting from out of town. Gloria from Florida and Brenda from Mississippi. At the invitation time both Gloria and Brenda raised their hands. Our assistant pastor dealt with them at the altar and they trusted Christ as their Saviour. Praise God!

Overall we had a very good attendance day and many other visitors were here. Including a Buddhist that I was able to lead to Christ last Thursday night. God truly gave us a Mother's Day to remember. We must never forget his continual blessings for those who obey His command to fulfill the Great Commission.
