Full Parking Lot
This morning the parking lot areas were full, which translates over to a full church building. We had a great drive in crowd this morning. They far out numbered our bus routes, yet the bus routes were very full too! Praise God!!! We had 12 first time visiting adults. We also had 3 public professions of faith being made at the invitation time. I thank God for his everlasting goodness to us as a church!

A Karen Family
I was recently given a gift of a Karen shirt from one of our faithful men. He bought it in Burma on a recent trip. This morning I wore it for the Burmese refugee bus route and to teach my Sunday school class in. Many members of my class are Karen people. My wife and two youngest daughters also have shirts. Today they took our picture and said we look like a Karen family.
We had a wonderful week with many trusting the Saviour. Saturday I was out in the trenches battling the JFW's for souls both in the morning and the afternoon. Praise God I was able to win one that they had been studying with. God is greatly blessing our church and definitely blessing our Karen refugee ministry. The past three weeks we have had in the teens for number of Karen adults. We always have dozens of Karen kids. Continue to pray for us as we strive to reach every ethnic group of this city! TO EVERY NATION!

Resurrection Sunday!
We had a great Resurrection Sunday as it was the second largest attendance that we had ever had in our church. Dr. Bowen our missionary to Thailand was here and preached for us. He preached a great message and the altars were full. There were 6 public professions of faith made and one following the Lord in believer's baptism. Our attendance was 153 with 63 riding on our bus routes. God truly has blessed our church as we are growing every week.
I thank the Lord for the opportunity he has given me to pastor the most diverse church in Lincoln, Nebraska with more than 11 different ethnic groups being represented and more than 15 different languages that could be spoken by this crowd. Our church has an opportunity to reach to Every Nation, which is just what we are after! Please pray for us to win many more souls!!!

The Importantance of a Little Extra Bible Study
I had just blogged about a new lady named Mary who had just came out soul winning this past Thursday night. Well, this past Saturday afternoon my wife spent some time taking Mary through a "Grow in Grace" booklet (By Mercy and Truth Ministries). The first lesson was on salvation. Mary had previously been a Buddhist and had gotten saved in Austin, Texas several years ago. However, after completing the first lesson with my wife Mary said that she had never understood all of that before and made a decision to accept Christ.
When I arrived home that afternoon my wife and Mary where in our dining room. Mary said to me, "Pastor, I only had a head knowledge before and not a heart knowledge, so I decided to accept Jesus today." She also said to me, "Now, I must take baptism again." Praise God, come Sunday morning she did just that! You see several years ago Mary did something; she left Buddhism behind. However, she had not come all the way to truly understanding and accepting Christ as her personal Saviour. We should never underestimate the importance of a little extra Bible study! For Mary the difference between Heaven and Hell was 18 inches.

Another New Soul Winner
This in Nan Mary pictured with my wife. She has been coming to our church for several weeks now. She came soul winning last night for the first time. While on the soul winning bus, she appeared a little nervous, but my wife said she actually did a fantastic job. My wife was her partner and she was actually able to translate for my wife to be able to witness to someone. Mary knows five different languages fluently, including English. Interestingly, she was a former Buddhist, before getting saved in a Baptist church in Austin, Texas several years ago. She has lived in a Lincoln a few years now and is actually one of our neighbors. We are excited about this lady and her family and believe the Lord can use them to do something very special for Him!
