Memorial Foyer

  We opened up our Memorial Foyer at our Bible Conference last night. It is in precious memory of Ed Fauth and Bud Painter, two of our finest members who have passed on to Glory Land! These men made great contributions to our church and we want to make sure that they are remembered for years to come.

  We literally put this project together in few short weeks and I couldn't have completed it without the help others. A special thank you to Bro. Looper, Bro. Miller, Bro. Painter, Bro. Ivan and Bro. Blaise. I also want to thank my family for all the help they gave as well. Please look at all the pictures to see the whole foyer.

Another New Usher Goes to Work

Say Nay Moo is pictured here with myself and my son who is our assistant pastor. He was used as an usher for us today for the first time and did a great job. He is a faithful man who comes to all church services, goes soul winning in Thursday nights, and gives tithes faithfully. I thank God for good men like this in our church. Just this past Saturday he came with me and my wife to make several visits to some Burmese refugees. He is an excellent translator and helped me lead three people to Christ. We are so blessed to have such good ushers in our church. The group of ushers we are currently using are the most friendly and inviting bunch of guys that we have probably ever used as an entire group! They love their Saviour! Praise God!

Where are they all?

This is Geraldine on the left and Tricia on the right. They both came to church this past Sunday night. On Sunday morning Geraldine called the church wanting a ride, but services had already started. So she wanted to come Sunday night. I went to pick her up and she told me she had a friend who wanted to come too. Interesting enough Geraldine got saved and baptized with her son in our church back in 2002. Her friend Tricia got baptized with her son in our church back in 2003. They said they decided it was time to get back into our church. People always ask, "Where are they all?" My answer is always, "They are somewhere!"

We also had a great morning service with 30 riding the Burmese refugee route and one making a profession of faith in Christ that had gotten saved on Saturday. Praise God for His goodness.

Our Newest Usher

Bro. Saw Zawlatt

 This is Saw Aung Zawlatt, our newest usher. He has been coming to our church for over a year and is a faithful member. He tithes, attends all the services and comes soul winning every Thursday night. He also speaks three different languages. This past Thursday he helped my wife and daughter lead five Karenni people to Christ in the Burmese language. This family all came to church this past Sunday as well. I thank God for men like Brother Saw who have become valuable members of our church. It is exciting to see some of these newer members growing in the Grace of God.

This past Sunday we had 31 riders on our Burmese refugee route. It was amazing to see all the regulars come and several new riders. Including several adults. God truly is blessing our "To Every Nation" outreach. We had not only many refugees from Burma come, but also a Cuban man come that was brought by our regional leader for Latin America. Praise God!

Weekend of New Births

Soe Meh

Praise God for a great week and weekend of soul winning. I was able to see many come to the Saviour. On Saturday I was able to lead Lah Say to Christ. Her younger sister Paw Lwey Htoo has been riding our Burmese refugee route for several weeks now. It was a privilege to meet her and be able to lead her to Christ this past Saturday.

Then on Sunday we had Soe Meh come to church with her daughter. Interesting story here; a couple of Thursday nights ago my wife directed me and my partner Say Nay Moo to her door saying there was a Karenni man there that spoke very little English. So we went there to witness to him in Burmese. However, when we arrived Soe Meh answered the door and there was no man there. My partner and I were able to come into the apartment and give her a clear presentation of the Gospel. We discovered the man that was there was her husband and that he had already went to bed for the night. Please pray for Soe Meh and her family to come to Christ.

As I finished preaching Sunday morning and I started the invitation, I looked around the auditorium and saw several of our altar workers approaching different visitors and witnessing to them. I paused for a moment and thought to myself, "Praise God! We are doing what we do!" I then went myself and approached a first time visitor named Bonnie and led her to Christ.

We had a great day overall with multiple visitors coming, including a sharp first time visiting couple. I also had a special guest I met out soul winning who came named Kam Suan Mung. He is Zomi man from Burma. Everyone who came to seemed to have a great time. Praise God! We will just keep doing what we do!

BRRRR.... It is cold outside!

 It was negative 3 degrees when we cranked the bus vehicles this morning. The wind chill was around negative 20 degrees. However, surprisingly we had a great attendance for the weather on the three bus routes and in the adult Sunday school classes. The Burmese refugee route was full and worth making two trips to bring everybody in. God blessed!

We had a Kurdish man that had been saved on a Thursday night a few weeks back come and walk the aisle professing faith in Christ. He is coming back next week to follow the Lord in believer's baptism. We also had one of our faithful members return from Burma after visiting his parents and getting married. He will be working toward bringing his wife here to America in the near future. We look forward to welcoming her to America and to our church congregation.
